SPLENDOR X from Lumenis is an advanced solid-state laser platform designed for professional laser hair removal and a range of skin and vascular treatments. Powered by proprietary BLEND X® technology, the system combines Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser wavelengths, allowing practitioners to adjust and synchronise the two wavelengths according to individual skin and hair characteristics.
This dual-wavelength approach gives SPLENDOR X the flexibility to address a broad range of skin tones and hair types while providing practitioners with greater control over treatment parameters. Beyond hair removal, the platform can also be used for selected pigmented and vascular lesions, wrinkle reduction and other professional skin applications.
Two Wavelengths, One Customised Treatment.
BLEND X®
At the heart of SPLENDOR X is BLEND X® technology, which combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser wavelengths within one system.
The 755 nm Alexandrite wavelength has a high affinity for melanin and is traditionally used for lighter skin tones.
The 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength has lower melanin absorption and is suited to treating darker skin tones.
BLEND X allows practitioners to adjust the proportions of the two wavelengths and tailor treatment according to skin type, hair colour and hair thickness.
SPLENDOR X is designed to support customised laser hair removal across a wide range of skin tones, including Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI, subject to appropriate treatment assessment and regional indications.
Versatility in Laser Treatments
Although laser hair removal is a core application of SPLENDOR X, the platform is designed to support more than hair reduction. Depending on the configuration, treatment protocol and applicable indications, SPLENDOR X can be used for:
